Both banner advertising and text based ads can be very effective ways to draw customers to your website. Both Banner Ads and Text Ads have there own unique benefits and it’s important for your business to make an informed decision when choosing which style of advertising to use, but how do you make the right choice?

If you have a product that appeals to people visually such as clothing, electronics or even a vacation retreats, then banner ads are the way to go. Think about it, not many people will click on a text ad when they want the latest fashion because, well frankly, they want to see it. That’s not to say text ads won’t work too, you might want to consider having both, spending a little more focus on banner or graphical ads in your PPC campaigns and on the sites you’ll advertise on.

All in all, banner ads are good for getting your logo, product and name seen. Banner ads are great if it is necessary that your product is seen by prospective customers. Text ads are less expensive, they’re simple to create, and can include valuable targeted keyword phrases.
