Deep Linking
Link Exchanges are important for any SEO campaign, but a lot of amatuer SEO’s don’t realize that linking to internal subpages of your website is also very important, don’t just link to your homepage.
Why? Well Deeper linking makes sure you have links coming in to as many subpages as possible and it tells a search engine, when other websites are link to different pages on your site you have lots of worthwhile content on multiple pages of your site. If you only do link exchanges with homepage of your site it in turn will tell a search engine that all your links are coming in to the home page because you have a shallow site with not much value, or that your links were generated by automation rather than by the value of your site.
