Fine Tuning Your Online Advertising in Google Adwords
When using an online advertising tool such as Google adwords, you’ll need to educate yourself on all the features, options and custom settings available to you in order for your campaigns to perform at it’s best.
The first thing you should do is research your competitors keywords, not just the site keywords but also the PPC keywords too. You can use tools likw spyfu to help you.
Compile a list of these keywords and ones you already have and paste them into your campaign. Once you have those saved, use the onboard keyword suggestion tool provided within Goodle Adwords to help find other relevant or niche keywords to add to your campaign.
As a standard these keywords will list as broad relevance, so be sure to fine tune some of them to exact match phrases. If you leave them all as broad you may loose some bid funds to unrelevant search terms.
Try to define and fine tune how, who and when your ads will be displayed too. Knowing your target audience and geographic reach can help you fine tune your campaign even more.
