Google to accept CPA’s

It looks like Google is testing yet another new ad revenue by accepting cost-per-action (CPA) advertising. Once considered an act of desperation to accept this form of revenue, Google is lending further credibility to this form of payment. After all, they have years worth of historical data on what may or may not work for certain types of performance based ads. Affiliate networks have long sense known the power of search marketing for delivering quality site conversions. Now Google gets to benefit from their years of analytics and financial risk. Although it appears the ads will initially run on Google’s AdSense affiliates. I’m sure it won’t be long before these ads appear in prominant search results. So what happens to those affnets? Does Google accept their ads on CPC if they can make more on CPA?
