Real time mobile social network and city guide buzzd has developed a version for Google’s Android platform. The application includes all of the features of the iPhone such as buzzdmeter, a real time measure of activity at bars and nightclubs, allowing users to see the locations in their city within walking distance of where the user is located.
Google had planned to release the Android version last year but they waited for customer demand. The new mobile web version of buzzd is designed so that users can quickly search venues and receive real time feedback.
Users can also add and invite friends from any address book so that they can share their buzzes. Buzzes can also be posted at the venue and Facebook and Twitter status’s can be updated as well.
You can see who is at a bar or a club if you wish to plan your night out. Android is much less crowded compared to Apple’s App Store where there are over 150,000 applications in iTunes. Android currently has around 15,000 applications. T
here will be a handful of Android devices launching this week and early next week and the Android is selling so well that Google has many exciting things in the works for 2010.
