Website Load Time
The faster your webpage loads the more likely a visitor will read the content, if it takes too long, they may move on to the next site.
Although loading speed is important to your site visitor, did you know it’s also important in terms of search engine optimization (SEO)?
The loading speed of your website should be kept to a minimum, if it takes longer than 7 seconds to load on a dial up – you should consider making adjustments.
First step, compress your file size with a html compression tool. If that doesn’t work, try re-writing your page code and reducing image file size, get your webpage down to a small file size. If that doesn’t help your page load faster then you’ll need to look into the web hosting company you’re using, do some speed tests on there host server, if you find it is slow try switching hosts.
