How Often Does Google Visit Your Site?
Watching your stats for your site, it’s always good to see the search engine spiders/crawlers visiting your site pages because this means they are indexing and/or caching your website pages. But how often do these crawlers visit your website? Has it been a while? Getting the crawlers to visit often is important.
Things to watch out for after a crawl are:
- is the engine including all your site pages into the search results
- is the crawler reading your robots file
- are your site pages cached to the correct updated pages
