Optimize Internal Pages for Organic Search & Capture Leads
When people visit your site there should be at least one or two ways for them to find what they’re looking for. Make sure you market to your customers on each page based on what they are looking for. Internal pages can be optimized to come up higher on search engine results for niche keyword searches (making surfers go directly to the page they need) and the main homepage optimized for the overall service industry or product line.
If you’re not selling a product, don’t waste your sites potential with just ‘information’. Try to obtain leads through online consultation forms, a newsletter form, or a survey form. Generating leads for service sites are critical so that you can follow up with clients. You can use surveying software to design questionnaires that will rank prospects based on their answers or hire a website designer to create a custom lead form for you.
When you use forms on your site be sure to also use CAPTCHA based image verifications and have at least 2 required fields for email and name, this will help your data stay clean of spambots or non interested surfers.
