Recent Page Rank (PR) Falls

The recent page rank (PR) update has shown many sites across all industries and countries fall. Many that fell are sites that had high PR (PR 5,6,7,8). Google gave no official information to this recent update.

Many SEO’s say there was also a manual update of PR going on for the past one month of October and several bloggers noticed the page rank falls. There have been many speculations to why Google is decreasing page ranks on so many sites, even very high profile sites.

Link Trading seems to be one of the factors that the SEO professionals believe to have effected the PR decreases. Perhaps the value of backlinks, or paid links has fallen due to a recent Google Algorithm update.
