The “alt†image attribute is indexed by many of the engines and provides another opportunity for you to attach keywords and concepts to your pages. Use the tags to boost your keyword frequency (or “densityâ€) on the page. The alt image tag also improves the handicapped accessibility of your pages so don’t jam them with keywords. To use the alt tag correctly and to your best advantage describe the image with your keyword phrase is as short a note as possible.
For example, if you have a ‘click here’ button image and you are advertising for click for a quote on a SEO Service Plan. you could enter your alt tag text to say ‘Get SEO Quote’ rather than just ‘Click Here’ in the alt tag text.
