Test & Modify site content to get better search results
A visually appealing website may not always be a good site. Richness and originality of web design does matter, but also, good site content gives you better results in term of search engine rankings and visibility (i.e. having higher traffic). So while designing a visably appealing site for your visitors you should also insert keywords and key phrases within your content to be more visible by the search engine crawlers.
Don’t just do this once, test the keyword content with the search engines, see where you rank compared to competitors, fine tune your content to get the right amount of keywords and wait to see if you rank better, don’t do this too quickly, you’ll have to wait for the updated content to be cached and reranked before you can start making comparisons on your content changes.
Check for content originality using various tools (like Copyscape). Content duplication can lead to lower ranking and decrease the visibility of the website. In short, a careful selection of the keywords and the uniqueness of the content can get better results for your website!
