The Best SEO Techniques

The irony is that most of the SEO techniques have been found to be highly volatile as the ranking algorithm has been continuously changed by the search engines since its inception.

The reason is two fold – firstly, the search engines try their best to hide the algorithm from the public and secondly a long lasting algorithm has always got the worries of being broken by the intelligent people. This is also true that people have tried to use a lot of unethical techniques to get a higher SERP, which has been traced by the robots of the search engines, which has also forced them to change their algorithm and contribution of each factor.

We can talk of some generic techniques, which have been holding importance since the beginning and even today they have not become redundant.

1) Link Building – You need to place links in various sites and directories. The submission may be free, may be paid submission or even link exchange, but you need to have a reasonable amount of links from many websites.
2) Keyword Density – A continuous research is mandatory on most searched keywords and uses them in your content intelligently.
3) Update Content frequently – It is said that the best way is to change the content, as soon as Google caches the existing content. This keeps the interest alive for Google and other search engines, as they get fresh content every time they visit. Change of Content maintains the dynamism of your website also.
4) Internal Links – Web masters or designers mostly ignore these internal links. It has been proved that internal links help your site visibility
5) SEO friendly Sitemap – A good sitemap in the compatible format of search engines work highly positive in case of awarding ranking in the site. Go for an XML based sitemap and update the sitemap with each activity in the website.

Basically a SEO Blueprint has to be developed in the beginning and needs to be strictly adhered to for a period of time.
