When designing a website it is important to follow the following tips.
Your sites color scheme must be appealing and consistent. Often, websites have too many different colors in its design which can make it seem unprofessional and unreadable. Stick to one particular color scheme throughout the whole website using 3 to 4 colors that complement each other. If you need help determining colors, contact a website designer for guidance.
Make sure the site is easily navigated by the visitor. People who visit your website must be able to move around it with ease to find what they want. Therefore you should have a navigation bar located somewhere visible on the website. The most common places for the navigation bar is at the top of the webpage or to the left. Also think about added a ’sitemap’ link to the bottom of your pages, visitors tend to look for this link when they can’t find what they want on the page.
