During the Democratic National Convention, delegates could use their cell phones to send text message comments that would show up on the big screen for all to see. There are many major brands who are jumping into mobile marketing too. Some of the top name brands are Kroger, the Chicago Tribune, JCPenney, Hannah Montana, and Visa. This is another sure sign of the future growth of mobile marketing.
The Mobile Marketing Association has always had a list of rules but now they have expanded to include a set of guidelines specifically for Bluetooth marketing. They plan to work on guidelines for Wi-Fi, NFC and location-based services as well.
