Visitors Leaving Your Site

So you’re getting loads of traffic to your website, great! But are the visitors becoming potential customers? Are they inquiring for more information on your services or buying your products?

If the answer to that is ‘no’, you’ll need to look at your website to determine why. Here are a few good Do’s and Dont’s to show what will help your site keep visitors staying longer.

Do’s

Keep you site user-friendly and easy to navigate.
Have information-rich well written unique content
Make sure your content establishes trust and leaves a positive impression.
Make sure your page has a call to action for the visitor (‘buy now’ or ‘contact us today’ or ‘get a free consultation’)

Dont’s

Don’t crowd the web page with so much content that you no longer can see any white space on the site (read up on the importance of white space on a website).
Don’t write generic content with typical sales pitches that everyone’s heard before.
Don’t use several animated graphics in the site (if you use animation, stick to just 1 thing).
Don’t put the important content to the bottom of the page.
Don’t have a site design that looks amatuer compared to competitors
