Want Extra Site Links in Google Search?
In our article posted yesterday (Google SiteLinks) we explained what Google Sitelinks are, in researching more on the web, some SEO professionals have talked about what you might be able to do to increase your chance of getting site links, some of these theories have been posted below. We are not saying any of these ideas will work, but just professional guess work on what might help.
- Create simple menu using HTML features like
- and text links.
- Organize navigation to present logical destinations
- Organize entire site structure
- Name pages with simple short names (www.yoursite.com/services.html, www.yoursite.com/contact.html)
- Also consider using subdomain pages (http://services.yoursite.com, http://contact.yoursite.com)
- Brand the web site with a unique name, don’t have generic domain name.
- Add really useful titles and META descriptions to the subpages of the site, not just the homepage.
- Become an authority website
- Get a high page rank.
- Be a page 1, #1 result listing for your keyword.
