Yahoo! made an announcement today that they have launched “Fire Eagle”. It’s a tool to help people stay connected through location using technology. You can’t sign up just yet, but you can request an invitation since they are only allowing signup’s via invitation only at this time.

Here’s what Yahoo! says about Fire Eagle:
