Yahoo’s Search Marketing Platform
Yahoo recently announced it’s delaying the launch of their new search platform. Despite marketers clamoring for the upgrades, it appears Yahoo doesn’t want to risk disrupting their search revenue without more product testing.
According to Yahoo, the platform will eventually include easy to use control panel, fast ad activation… within minutes, campaign budgeting, forecasting & scheduling and visibility to competitive analysis with their new “Quality index” display. There’s also plans for developing additional distribution partners, advanced user targeting based on online behavior and demographic data, plus ad formats using graphics and rich media. Frequent communication is forthcoming through email, newsletters, blog and a toll phone number. We’ll make sure we lay out the details as soon they’re announced.
