WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Our dBase Registry ad management platform offers dual functionality to our clients, first, as an ad management platform through which we collect Anonymous Information, and secondly, for CRM lead generation through which we may collect both Anonymous Information and Personal Information that users voluntarily opt-in to provide to us.

We collect information through cookies and log files to understand our users’ preferences and to improve our Sites and services. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Some cookies and other technologies may serve to recall Personal Information previously indicated by a Site’s user. Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them. We may use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. Session ID cookies are automatically deleted when a user closes the browser. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user’s hard drive for an extended period of time, so that information (like the user’s preferences) can be retrieved from the cookie on the next occasion when the user visits the same Site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. If you choose to disable cookies, some areas of the Sites and services may not work properly. 

We may also enable advertisers and ad servers to promote third party products and/or services by placing advertisements on our Sites. In our log files, we collect information such as Internet protocol (“IP”) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (“ISP”), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and clickstream patterns. Log file information may be linked to your Personal Information, and by using any Site or service, you agree that you are voluntarily providing that information to us, authorizing such linking, and opting-in to permit us to use and disclose such information as Personal Information to the extent that we are otherwise authorized to use and disclose Personal Information. Our use of cookies and other tracking technologies allows us to improve our Sites and services. We may also analyze information that does not contain Personal Information for trends and statistics.

Our Sites and services may contain forms through which we collect and maintain information submitted voluntarily by users, such as, but not limited to, registration forms, customer support surveys or other informational surveys. For example, we may use this information to tailor the visitor’s experience by showing them content that we feel may be of interest to them and may meet their personal preferences. Users of these forms accept full responsibility for the legitimacy of any information provided to us. However, we do not require you to provide such information to us. In order to use certain aspects of our services, you may be required to complete the applicable registration form accessible on the site. However, some services may not require registration. Our registration process requires you to provide your first name, last name and email address, among other information. We may also request optional information to support your use of the services, including but not limited to your postal address, phone number, date of birth, zip code, and country of residence. We collect and maintain a record of all data provided through such registration forms. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but this may limit the features of our services you are able to use.

We sometimes collect information on behalf of, and from the websites of, our business partners. That information is treated in accordance with the privacy policies of our business partners and this Privacy Policy does not apply to such information.

We do not intentionally collect or maintain Personal Information from those who are under 13 years old. Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us. Thus, if we obtain knowledge that a user is under 13, we will take steps to remove that user's Personal Information from our databases.

Information From Other Sources

We may receive and verify Personal Information about you from other sources like telephone, email or fax, from third parties that provide services for us in connection with our own services, as well as from third parties to whom you have voluntarily provided information or additional public records. We may add this information to the information we have already collected from you via our services. This Privacy Policy does not restrict our use of that additional information.

Although we currently do not have a parent company, any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control, we may in the future, and we may share some or all of your Personal Information with these companies, in which case we will require them to honor this Privacy Policy.

In the event Company goes through a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your Personal Information may be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy, and that any acquirer of Company or its assets may continue to process your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

CHOICES REGARDING PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you no longer wish to receive promotional communications from us via email or if you wish to have your Personal Information removed from our databases, simply contact us at optout@dbasemedia.com and provide the name of the service for which information was provided, your full name, mailing address, phone number and email address so that we may identify you in the opt-out process. Within a reasonable time after we receive your request, we will cease those communications or remove the Personal Information. Please note that even though you may request deletion of your Personal Information by us, we may be required (by law or otherwise) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete Personal Information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives.

We do not maintain responsibility for the manner in which third parties, including advertisers, our partners and third party service providers, use or further disclose Personal Information collected from you in accordance with this Privacy Policy, after we have disclosed such information to those third parties. If you do not want Company to use or disclose Personal Information collected about you in the manners identified in this Privacy Policy, you may not use the Site or any service. If you are merely a visitor to the Site and have not registered for any service, please note that Company does not collect any Personal Information unless you voluntarily provide the same, so you do not need to opt-out regarding any such communications or disclosures.
